Goering was quite a character. Had he not been an inmate at a mental institution and a drug addict, one could probably take his quotes a little more seriously. Although he was the head of the Luftwaffe, he was a lousy strategist and did a very poor job. His only real accomplishment was as a fighter pilot in WW1. He was an ace, almost, but not quite, on the level of the Red Baron.

some friends would say "hey, we're having a get together" and i would say sure we'll be there, then they'd say "oh, be sure and bring your watchtower!
Back in 1983 there were a few of the twenty-something young people who would get together to study the WT. There were MS's and pioneers there, along with the rest of us. It was young people from various halls in the city. A great way to meet, and get to know other people.
They put a stop to it pretty fast.

ok, here's why: i met the girl of my dreams.
absolutely gorgeous, smart, witty, no kids (not that i don't like kids, it's just that i won't be a "just-add-dad" again), succesfull...anyway, we met through my cousin at a bar (he's thinking about buying it and invited some people to go with him for like a second opinion, and his wife invited this girl).
Sounds like a major case of infatuation to me. She may be physically beautiful on the outside, but if she is a true hard-core JW, she is ugly on the inside. My advice: move on.
